Color Me -- Orange

Although some people think of orange as only an autumn color, in our town orange is always in style. The reason is because orange and black are our high schools colors. There actually is more than 1 high school here, but only one 'big' one. And it's the high school our kids go to, so we usually have plenty of orange on hand. The last couple days, however, I've been looking for orange things to put in this post, it's amazing what's out there...

My piano teacher's cat

Pumpkins, of course (and yes Otin and Matty, they had white ones as well)

Mini pumpkins too

I adore candy corn and pumpkins. If you think it's too sweet, add some peanuts into the mix. Tasty!

Powerade - always handy to have around if you have athletes... or people puking.
I should have been in marketing, don't ya think?

And lastly, Bob's collection of orange shirts to wear to games. And just because he likes orange.

Just for giggles, here's some pumpkin wine. I'm disappointed that it's not orange. However, it's not mine. It's his...

Nice idea to post all about orange. I used to have orange U of Tennessee shirts when my parents lived there.

Once again you end a post with wine. I sense a trend here Susan.

Orange is my oldest's favorite color. He had an orange birthday party when he turned 5. That was over 14 years ago. I do remember that there were a lot of awesome orange foods!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Orange! It makes me so happy! I would paint my whole house orange but then my husband would leave me and I've grown rather fond of him.

The cat is my fav!

I've been on an orange kick this summer and fall. I just put out a luscious burnt orange throw and pillow on the family room sofa.

I'd like to sample that pumpkin wine. Mmm.

I'm celebrating October today!

I love orange! The color, the flavor, everything - I don't like candy corn to eat (yuck) but they are great for decorating. Nice kitty!

Creamsicles. The greatest orange substance in the universe. No doubt about it at all.

Found you through my bud Otin. Good stuff!

This reminds me of my deep love for candy corn (which I can't get in England! sob!).

I like these pictures a lot. Orange is really a very cheerful color, in a nicely offbeat way.
