It's All About Attitude

Today many of my cyber friends have been doing a list of 10 simple things that make them happy. I'm trying to remember everyone so if I left someone out I'm totally sorry. These people find joy in the little things that I often take for granted, so if you have time be sure to check out the Optimistic Pessimist (well she stole all hers, but it's still a good list!), VEG, Her Royal Magesty TFM, Extranjera, Julochka, the never forgettable Ali
I know we all love lists, so lets go!
  • I'm so thankful for my new washer and dryer! My old one was only 10 years old, but I guess that's the life of them these days. I want to say "now if I just had someone to do laundry for me life would be great" but I'm not gonna say that because this is a happy post. Anyway, my new w/d are Pine Green and that makes me happy.

  • I love opening the garage door and seeing that husband is already home
  • I love napping during a raging thunderstorm
  • I love the sound of silence after a busy day
  • I just realized I already did this post...here and here so I might as well stop.

At least you got to look at my brand spanking new pine green washer and dryer!!

Ummm hello where's my mention... even in the midst of a crisis I managed to make a list, helloooo.
Love the washer and dryer and the fact that they are front loaders... great stuff!!!! and I too love it when I come home and see husbands car in the drive, it's like a tiny Christmas present wrapped in Pontiac (company car not by choice!).

otin: I know you hate this list that's why I didn't ask you to do one! I did kinda enjoy the 10 things that make me pissed though... You're so funny!

I totally understand your love of your washer & dryer. I have a LG front loading washer and it is AWESOME.

I've had it for over a year and still absolutely love it.

OMG...I just realized, I may need to get a life if I'm so happy over a W & D.....

I just LOVE those new laundry facilities you have there! I have been coveting my sister's for a while now. . . which is totally against one of the 10 commandments. . . I know, it's wrong. . . would you just pray for me? Love your posts!

They are green. yes. And I do love green.
One more inanity from me today.

the washer and dryer are truly stunning and look very serious together like that

I love the fact that you like napping when it's raining outside. I never thought about that but I love that too

why did you wait so long to make your list...I could have stolen from this one too!

LMB: I agree, we must both need to get lives if this is excitement for us!!

PS: I've been coveting the fact that my sister spent the day in paris and I'm doing laundry. Not cool. You pray for me and I'll pray for you! Deal?

EXT: I'm glad you like green too so I can feel like I belong. We liked the red ones too, but they only came in the 3000 model, and we wanted the 5000 (oohhh ahhhh)

B: Yours was a great list! I'm so sorry I didn't mention it! I love the thought of having nothing to do, but does that ever really happen??

Polly: I think it's the white noise of the patter of the rain, the rustle of the leaves in the trees behind the house, the howl of the wind. Love it. Perfect napping day.

OP: Because I didn't have time! I would have loved for you to steal anything from me!

you gotta have a BIG room for those big-ass machines! they look so high tech you might be able to program them to load and unload themselves...

Jul: Think I could get them to fold and hang and put in the closet? That'd be heavenly!

I tagged you for an easy one, what do you mean it is hard? LOL!
