A Dogs Life

I have spent the day slaving away over my scrapbooking table trying to get caught up. Today I was working on youngest daughters baby book. She's 14. It's never going to end. Anyway, I'm feeling zapped creatively, but I've been wanting to post some of these pictures.

This is, of course, Juneau. He is a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loves Albert Pujols because he is an awesome player as well as an all-around good guy. But Juneau also likes Yadier Molina.

Is this Jenny sleeping? Or perhaps rigor mortis has set in...

Jenny and Juneau hiding under the bed during a thunderstorm. Juneau never used to be afraid of storms til he learned it from Jenny. We just adopted Jenny in february from Hope Animal Rescues. We don't know where she learned to hide in the bathtub during storms, but that's usually where she'll go. When we're in my room she goes under the bed (I have a garden tub with windows around it, I don't think she feels safe there).

Ahhh. Poor Sasha. She was an American Eskimo like Juneau. She died on Mothers Day last year. She was only 1 & 1/2 but she got encephalitis. I think her little ghostie is still hanging around tho. I have a digital frame and sometimes it freezes on a picture of Sasha. Never on anyone else, just her...

Juneau is also addicted to Starbucks. That's why I have to go there day in and day out. It's not for me...it's for him. Promise.

Juneau and Sasha again before she died. Cutie pies, huh?

Otin: Belive it or not, I was already planning on naming our next one Otin!!! Of course he will be the bestest, cutest, smartest doggie in the whole wide world!!

Iasa: Thanks!! I think so too. I'm not one of those goofy dog people (I hope) but I do love my own.

M81: I think that's why we can be cyber buddies! If everyone would just do the basics (ie neuter/spay) there wouldn't be so many unwanted pets. So many lives would be saved...

OMG your dogs are SOOO cute! I was unable to bring my boys to Khartoum and I miss them every stinking day!! (although they are being fostered until I can get home to them, I didn't have to give them away permanently!)

ADORABLE!

Michel: we also foster dogs...well we did before we decided we loved Jenny enough to make her a permanent member of the family. Her parents were *supposed* to get her after they got settled in their new house, but after over a year they decided they didn't want her. So sad. But we love her so it's all good.

Hit40: They are so adorable when wet, I agree! Then they run around the house to get it wet as well! Also, they usually only get a bath at home when they get into something gross, so she was probably in trouble at the time :)
