Okay, that wasn't really my deep thought for the day. Actually my deep thought is about this:
GETTING TO KENNEBUNKPORT from BOSTON via COOPERSTOWN for the Baseball Hall of Fame:
- Time spent bonding with hubs: 13+ hours
- Miles driven in rent-a-car: 575
- Fulfilling a big boys dream:
pricelessI guess it was worth it
Here's another Deep Thought or Two about Cooperstown:
- Ummm, adolescent boys stink
- Put a couple hundred of said adolescent boys in one building, the building will stink as well
- Don't forget that most of these boys are wearing their athletic gear (clean? maybe, but I'm guessing not)
- Add their dads, sisters, mothers, grandparents and a Very Hot Day
- What do you get? An inexplicably fragrant venue. Really.

deep thoughts? about maine? my deep thoughts on that place are mainly about how to avoid it entirely!
Oh Honey, never ever ever travel with male persons and no essential oils. PeeeU!
Followers are very funny, if you take a few days off, all of a sudden they are gone! LOL! A little patience people!
Priceless indeed! I hope you spent 13+ hours thinking of how he will be repaying the favour! haha.
I've never been to Maine but Augusta looks beautiful and I can smell the lobsters you'll be talking about... mmmm
Re-reading your post I realize that the only male person you were travelling with was your sweetheart. Oh dear, hope I didn't offend. Reading about all the kids my mind went into mother-of-sons mode. Sorry!
about loosing followers...the other day I went to check on you and you were gone off my friend/ reading list or whatever you call it. I have no idea what happened. I had to "re follow" you. Could there be something weird going on?
Well I will tell you that the Softball Hall of Fame in Oklahoma does not smell like that. Could it be that they are primarily women? Or perhaps they wear a little Teen Spirit? LOL.
I think I am still following! I shout out for you in my last post!
The main thing I remember about Maine is the huge mosquitoes! Take your OFF!
And hurry home. I miss you.
just read your comment and replies on my blog...axe me what??? I tickled myself with that one so I had to put it here too!!!!!!
Stop traveling with his hubbyness and get packing for Reno!!!!!
It's odd I'll lose one follower and 2 days later get 4. It's an odd thing.
It's a good thing you don't get car sick - stinky venue + 575 miles in a car = ICK...
Whew!!! I cant imagine!!! Boys are STINKY!! I hope my stepson starts voluntarily showering by the time I come home next year, that would be SUPER!!!! I totally get what you mean by the way!!
Sweaty boys in an aging museum!! I bet it smelled. Good for you tagging along. Big mom points for you.
My followers are always in a state of flux. For every two new ones, I loose an old one. What ever happened to that old song "make new friends, but keep the old"?
Recently I picked up 2 sweaty 13-yr-olds after football practice. I had to open the windows!
Ewwwwww....smelly teenage boys is something I will have to contend with in about 10 years. Cry....
I'm totally puzzled re your Gravatar btw. We didn't do anything our end, ODD!!! x
I want to take Pitcher there; sort of a mom/son bonding day. I will put cotton up my nose. Thanks for the heads up!
Febreeze.
me too I lose them left and right ... then the next week I will gain one or two. I have no idea what I do...I try to keep up and make comments, but they still leave :-(
You wearing your patch???? LOL!
This cracked me up. :)
Hey that follower thing keeps happening to me. I'm not a slave to followers, but i usaually notice my number and when I get someone new. It goes up one, then down one...has been doing it all week. Not sure if I have someone who's indecisive or I just offend people and then get a new follower at the same time. Or maybe some one's just 'effin with me?!
Gotta be a tried and true baseball fan to love the Hall of Fame. To him it was.....PRICELESS !
And I can't wait to go back myself.
